Most patients return to light activities within 1 week. Full recovery and return to strenuous activities may take 4-6 weeks.

The common side effects after surgery?Swelling, bruising, and soreness are normal and will subside over time. There may also be temporary changes in nipple sensation.

I felt so unattractive that I would not take family photos, attend parties with my husband, or plan family vacations.
